Red Velvet Cookies
Soft, chewy, and topped with creamy white chocolate — a bakery-style red velvet treat!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Steps
- Cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
- Add egg, vanilla, and red coloring.
- Mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt separately.
- Combine wet + dry and fold in white chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough onto tray and bake at 175°C for 10–12 minutes.
Tips
- Add extra white chocolate on top before baking for bakery vibes.
- Don’t overbake — red velvet dries fast.
- Chill dough 20 minutes for thicker cookies.
